New York Snow!

On 2003 February 17, Manhattan was hit with 18.5 inches of snow - more than, well, a really long time. I have to explain that Manhattan seems to never ever have even a milimeter of snow on the streets or sidewalks ever. Although we get snow from time to time, it never seems to accumulate in the city - especially on the streets and sidewalks - and the little bit we do get always seems to be gone immediately. With that in mind, take a look at these pictures. This storm was heavy, long, and relentless, saturating the sky for some time and dumping tons of snow that just couldn't be dealt with quickly enough, even at the so-called crossroads of the world, Times Square.
